With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Shay of Georgetown, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vincent and Mary Shay (Fisher); and his stepmother Thelma Shay (Day). He is survived by: his wife Edna G. Shay (Doyle); his daughter Yveta Swearingen (Jamie) of Georgetown, Ohio; his grandchildren, Makena of Georgetown, Ohio, Travis of Georgetown, Ohio and Landon Swearingen of Georgetown, Ohio; his brothers, Donald "Doc" Shay of Georgetown, Mike Shay (Carol) of Hamersville, Steve Shay of Georgetown and Tim Shay of Cincinnati; and his nephew Robert "Bob" Shay of Kentucky. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
