It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean C. Purdon of Georgetown, Ohio, born in Falmouth, Kentucky, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Beulah May Slater (Hopper); her husband Carl Edward Purdon; and her brothers, Charles Eddie Slater and John Slater.
She is survived by: her sons, John Purdon (Beth) of Selma and Steve Purdon (Tracie Cheeley); her sisters, Erma Wagner (Jerl) of Lake Waynoka and Ruth King of Bethel, Ohio; and her brother-in-law Tom Purdon of Cincinnati. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandchild; two great-great grandchildren.
