He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gast; his son Steven Gast; and his brothers, James, Ronnie and Allen Gast.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Gast of Georgetown; his sons, Richard Gast (Goldie) of Georgetown and David Gast of Eastgate; his brother Omar Gast of South Webster, OH; and his grandchildren, Steven Gast and Ashley Sepietro.
