He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Stansberry and Dorothy Stansberry (Groppenbacher); his sister Donna Hawkins; his parents-in-law, Roscoe and Jessie Sanders (Carter); and his brother-in-law Paul Sanders.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Stansberry (Sanders); his children, Sue Cochran (Dickie) of Georgetown, Ohio, Jolinne Kerl (Jim) of Fairfield, Ohio, Mark Stansberry of Cincinnati and Scott Stansberry (Patty) of Georgetown, Ohio; his grandchildren, Craig Drake (Christy) of Georgetown, Nikki Stansberry of Seaman, Eric Stansberry (Lauren) of Georgetown, Sarah of Georgetown, Ohio, Laura of Georgetown, Ohio and Erin Stansberry of Georgetown, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Taylor Bennett (Donte), Austin Grippa, Jalynn and Ayden Drake; his great great grandchildren, Waverly and Xander Bennett; his siblings-in-law, Vern Hawkins of Georgetown, Ohio and Lois Sanders of Milford, Ohio; his nieces and nephews, Christy Lucas (Lee) of Georgetown, Tracy Hawkins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Eric Sanders (Carla) of Colorado and Cary Sanders (Ashley) of Tennessee; and his great-nephews, Logan, Layne and Landen Lucas. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
