He was predeceased by: his parents, David Crockett and Dolly Opal Shepherd (Tolle); and his siblings, David Shepherd, Larry Lee Shepherd, James G. Shepherd, Emma Faye Shepherd, Bonnie Swisshelm and Judy Brien.
He is survived by: his children, Chester D. Shepherd of Wilmington, OH, Chris Shepherd (Melissa) of Leesburg, OH, Ryan Shepherd (Joanna) of Lynchburg and Misty Marsh (Benjie) of New Market, OH; and his sister Virginia McKinney of Wilmington. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home (97 W Locust St, Wilmington, OH 45177). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
