He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Ernst (Sininger); his children, Melody McKinzie (Pat) of Georgetown, Ohio, Ruth Ellen Kidwell (Craig) of Georgetown, Ohio, Heidi Hyde (Geoff) of Georgetown, Ohio, Chuck Ernst (Emily) of Georgetown, Ohio, Rob Ernst of Georgetown, Ohio and Ryan Ernst (Laura) of Georgetown, Ohio; his grandchildren, John Kidwell (Heather), Cory Kidwell (Heather), Jesse Lewis (Nathan), Kiley Hyde, Jason Lee, Koby Hyde, Zoe, Xavier, Gunner, Beau, Sophia, Mason, Bella, Caroline, Gabrielle, Griffin and Josephine Ernst; his great grandchildren, Taivon Taylor, Kendall, Ashel, Finley Kidwell and Nash Lewis; and his nephew Ronnie Hall (Sherry) of Lakeland, Florida..
