He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Graves; his sister Dorothy Graves; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur, Jim Breeze, Mary Smith and Alma Breeze.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Naomi Dale (Rodney) of Carlisle, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
