It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Henry Maas of Genoa, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Ronald Henry Maas to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Maas and Mary Ann Maas. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Maas of Valentine's Day; his daughters, Aimee Szabo (Lou), Rhonda Carter (Mike), Gina Nowakowski (Brian), Alison Maas and Christie Maas; his siblings, Marilyn Sager, Don Maas (Donna), Connie Maas and Denny Maas (Debbie); his grandson Nicholas Nowakowski; and his pet Sam. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lucas County Children Services or the Toledo Humane Society.

“Ron worked with me at what is now the PNC Bank Bldg. We bonded when we became fishing pals. When we were out in a boat, away from distractions, we talked from the heart about our philosophies of life. And working and fishing, we would swap jokes, he had a rich sense of humor. I always felt at ease around Ron, it seemed that I knew him longer than I actually did. I too am missing this mighty fine fellow much. I have attached 3 photos of Ron the fisherman. -Jeff Whicker”
