He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Yatsko and Agnes Yatsko; his son-in-law Dennis Zaffino; and his siblings, Paulene Christy and Mary Elizabeth Dazley.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kuyoth; his children, Diane Zaffino, Karen Morrow (Joe Leach), Kevin Yatsko and Matt Yatsko (Debbie); his grandchildren, Anthony Mechling (Natalie), Dennis Zaffino, Dave Zaffino (Jenna), Elizabeth Zaffino, Matthew Yatsko and Monte Morrow; and his great grandchildren, Owen Mechling, Connor Mechling, Trevor Zaffino, DJ Zaffino and Rosie Zaffino.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
