She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dorfmeyer and Florentina Dorfmeyer (Welling); her husband William D. Gladden; her daughter Martha Jane; and her pet Sassy.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Gladden (Suzanne), Denise Berndt (Bill), Brian Gladden and Jason Gladden (Rebecca); and her grandchildren, Sy Gladden (Alissa), Andrew Gladden (Amy), Maggie Gladden, Alyssa Berndt, Adam Berndt, Josh Gladden, Brandon Gladden, Brianna Gladden, Nathaniel Gladden and Madison Gladden. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
The family will be holding a private service and burial for Nelda due to the Covid Virus situation.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire Dist., Station #36, 101 E. 6th Street, Genoa, Ohio 43430.
