She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry H. Horn and Bernice B. Van Horn (Newcomer); her husband Charles; her daughter Karen Peavler; her grandson William Peavler (Ray); and her siblings, Ralph, Ray Van Horn, Geneva Brinkman, Gertrude Howard, Virginia Garrett Wighaman, Della Baughman and Leona Kemerley.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Smith (Barbara) and Phillip Smith (Janet); her grandchildren, Justin Peavler (Beci), Kevin Peavler, Natalie Smith, Rochelle Smith, Rylee Conner (Chaz) and Nicole Smith; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Conner and Ella Peavler.
