He is survived by: his children, Starlene Burkett (Brian), John Wight, April Schultz (Aaron) and Miriam Wight; his grandchildren, Jake, Jesse Poiry, Alexander, Katheren, Ryan Reinhart and Elijah Burkett; his great grandchildren, Steven and Keona; and his sisters, Cynthia Diamond (Hal) and Judy Bee.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Fraternal Order of Police.
