It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darryl Bittner of Genoa, Ohio, born in Linden, Michigan, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Bittner and Viola Bittner (Smith); his brothers-in-law, Tom Downey and Bill Colyer; his son-in-law Greg Smith; and his cousin Sonny Snow.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Colyer); his children, Stacia Pigman (David) of Holgate, OH, Julie Rose (Dennis) of Berea, KY and Richard Bittner (Pam) of Bowling Green, OH; his stepchildren, Lisa Stringham (Doug) of Genoa, Michelle Smith of Moline and Ronald Potridge (Kim) of Perrysburg; his siblings, Wayne Bittner (Sheila) of Linden, MI and Betty Downing of Wilmington, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Colyer (Nancy) of Genoa, Arlene Slusher (Glen) of Perrysburg and Diane Colyer of Genoa. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Darryl can be given to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District Station #36.
