It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Jean Spitler of Genoa, Ohio, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, V. Wayne Hurst and Virginia Hurst (Duncan); and her sister Judy Hurst. She is survived by: her children, Scott Spitler (Katherine), Steve Spitler (Julie) and Shelley Spitler Merz; and her brother V. Wayne Hurst Jr. (Lori).
