He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Auten and Gladys Auten (Mason). He is survived by: his wife Jean Weber; his children, Rodney Shaffter (Lisa), Susan Hamercheck (John) and Lynn Brennan (Pastor Timothy); and his siblings, Howard Auten and Joan Payerchin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
