He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arnold and Mae Arnold (Morton); his siblings, William "Bill" Arnold, Dave Arnold and Marge Mulder; his daughter-in-law Kathy Arnold; and his granddaughter Sadie Schaubert.

He is survived by: his wife Grace Duncan; his children, Robert Arnold (Teresa), Johanna "Joni" Slepsky (Greg), Richard "Rick" Arnold, Jill Serpico (Randy) and Terri Carter (Brian); his brothers, Peter Arnold and Alex Arnold (Nora); his grandchildren, Kristen Groetz (Gary), Sarah Clay (Michael), Jami Hough (Brad) and Jacob Carter; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Gage, Theodora and Hadasah (Haddie).
