He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Yeary and Nola Roberts Yeary; and his brothers, J. B. Yeary, Lester Yeary, Grover Yeary and Jack Yeary.

He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Frymier of Ohio and Arlene Combs of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
