Maija Grendze Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2019, at the age of 92, Maija Grendze (Geneva, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viktors Varsbergs and Marta Varsbergs; her spouse Laimdots Grendze; and her grandson Brandon Grendze (Heather). She is survived by: her friend Maija; her children, Peter Grendze (Nancy), Davids Grendze (Silvija), Martin Grendze (Inara Linda), Karl Grendze, Ilze O'Hara (Joe) and Rita Grendze (Andris); her grandchildren, Emily (Shay), Edite, Karlina, Emili, Krista, Mikelis, Cullen, Karlis, Valdis, Aedan, Ella, Seamus and Emils; her sisters, Anna Lackajs (late Vitalijs) and Baiba Guess (Ken); and her sister-in-law Biruta Varsbergs (late Vilis). She is also survived by her father, leaving her mother with four children.
In lieu of flowers Maija's family respectfully asks for donations to the Latvian Center Garezers in MI, or to the Latvian Ev. Lutheran Church of Cleveland, or that you do a good deed in her honor.
