He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Burks and June Burks (Pennington); his son Larry V. Burks Jr.; his brother Gerald Burks; and his stepfather Eugene Wertman.
He is survived by: his wife Schree Burks; his siblings, Darlene Sparks, Matthew Wertman (Renay) and Tim Burks; and his children, Jason Ferris and Brandy Huntington. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and many loved nieces, nephews and extended family.
