He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Carlton and Martha Dorothy Russell (Glubner); his wife Geraldine L Russell; his siblings, Arthur, Albert, Walter, Harry, Charles, Richard Russell, Rose Topperi and Edith Lehtone; his brothers-in-law, Bill and Bob Maltby; and his nephew Steve Harchalk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Theilan (Dale) of Geneva and Becky Gardner (Pete) of Ashtabula; his grandchildren, Josh Theilan and Jennifer Spring (Jason); his great grandchildren, Zoe Austin and Roland Theilan; and his nephew Michael Harchalk.
