He was predeceased by: his parents, James Takacs and Catherine Takacs (Shull); and his daughter Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Donna (Russell); his sons, Jeff Russell (Brandy) and James Takacs III (Christen); his grandsons, Jeffrey, Ethan, Dominic and Jasper; and his sister Rosemary Wilson.
