He was predeceased by: his parents, David Orchard and Gladys Orchard (Champlin); his wife Jeannette Orchard; and his siblings, Vivian, Eloise and Richard.

He is survived by: his children, Gail Grow, Pat Hopkins (Tom), Mark Orchard, Michael Herrick (Megan), Donald Colagross (Lisa) and Larry Colagross, Jr.; and his sisters, Florence and Darlene. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
