She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Skokan; her parents, Delmar Penley and Agnes Jewell Mullins; and her sisters, Marlena Hitterman, Doris Vaughn and Brenda Penley.

She is survived by: her children, Taraysa Skokan, Mark Skokan, Kimberly Skokan, James Skokan and Deidre Skokan; her grandchildren, Windy Lopez (Skokan), Ember, Kyle, Michelle, Richard and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Rhonda Wright and Lee Penley.
