He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward James Walsh and Emily Joan Walsh (Bushey); his son John Thaddeus Walsh; and his brothers, Paul Walsh, Thomas Walsh and David Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Walsh (Mulqueen); his daughters, Suzanne W. Pompili (Vincent) and Mary E. Knadler; his daughter-in-law Franzi Walsh; his sister Joanne Murphy (James); his brother-in-law Rev. John D. Mulqueen; and his granddaughters, Emily Walsh, Amanda Walsh, Caroline Pompili and Maria Wagner (Patrick).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to The Gentiva Hospice Foundation (https://www.gentivahs.com) or any charity which supports research and support to patients and families who are affected by all types of dementia in honor of the deceased.
