He is survived by: his parents, Richard J. Collingwood and Barbara A. Collingwood; his wife Sarah; and his sisters, Anne Bleile (Denis), Heather Plue and Jennifer DiAngelo (Victor). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials if desired, may be made to the Citizenship and Education Foundation of the Edison Local Schools, 140 South Main Street, Milan, Ohio 44846 or to a favorite charity.
