He was predeceased by: his wife Erma; his parents, John Kovach and Barbara Torda; and his brother John Steven Kovach. He is survived by: his children, Matthew (Lisa), Christopher, Daniel (Leslie) and Stacey Kovach; his grandchildren, Courtney and Joshua Kovach; and his sister-in-law Patricia Bahas.
