She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward S.; her daughters, Amanda Murphy (Bill) and Stephanie Bencin (Nate Knaebel); her grandchildren, Mia, Sean Murphy and Juniper Knaebel; her parents, Leonard Schikowski and Jeanne Schikowski; her siblings, Lynn Krebs (Lisa Salmons) and Jack Schikowski (Dorothy); her sister-in-law Kathleen Bencin (Michael Wanzer); and her cousins, Michelle Oblak (Geza Varhegyi), Hope Glescic (Mike) and Diane Durham (Jay).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Karen to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
