She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her children, Steven, Sharon Kanter Hanford (Charlie), Stuart (Tammy) and Hope Frate (Neo); her grandchildren, Heather, Jessica of David, LK, Cole and Carson; her siblings, Mary Vidmar and Jackie Whelan; and her pets, Cocoa, Ted, Linus and Lucy.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Geraldine to St. Jude.
