He is survived by: his spouse Susan; his children, Rachel Thomas, John Heffernan (Teresa), Phoebe Adams (Steven), Peter Sanders (Jackie) and Janet Sanders (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jack, Claire, Tyler, Grace, Emily, Eleanor, Clara, Rebecca, Oliver, Remington and Donald.
