With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dnp Marian Shaughnessy (Gates Mills, Ohio), who passed away on February 24, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael R. Shaughnessy; her daughters, Anne Shaughnessy and Katherine Biggar (Robert) of Cleveland, Ohio; and her siblings, Dennis Kilker (Merry) of Euclid, Thomas (Carol), Jack and Jerome Kilker.
Marian held board positions for not-for-profit organizations such as University Hospitals Medical Center of Cleveland and the American Nurses Foundation, as well as served on the Advisory Committee for the Notre Dame College School of Nursing. One of her more recent accomplishments includes helping to launch the national 'Nurses on Boards Coalition' for the American Nurses Foundation.
