It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Léon Chehin-Merryman (Garrettsville, Ohio), born in Ravenna, Ohio, who passed away on October 6, 2018, at the age of 1, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Léon Chehin; and his great-grandparents, Frank "Pop" Bitterman, Robert Edgar (Marian) and Lou Merryman (Nancy). He is survived by: his parents, Jacob Merryman and Ashlyn Chehin; his grandparents, Dan Merryman, Bobbi "Dilly" Merryman and Baldwin Orie (Jerry); his great-grandparents, Michael "Poppy", Willie "MorMor" Baldwin, Sandra "Gamma" Bitterman, Marcel "Opa" and Raja "Oma" Chehin; his uncles, Devin Chehin and Rob Merryman; his aunt Candice Chehin (Hannah Abell); and his pets, Oakley, Kai and Mitch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Léon's name to The Children's Advocacy Center of Portage County, 6847 N. Chestnut St., Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
