He was predeceased by: his parents, Heugh L. Gutherie and Lillie J. Gutherie; his son Phillip Gutherie; his siblings, Jim Gutherie, Marlin Gutherie, Wilbert Gutherie, Elsie Welton and Alverda Gillen; and his son-in-law Mark Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Clifford Gutherie (Kathy), Terry Gutherie (Marjorie), Wilbert Gutherie (Julie) and Karen Davis (Rusty Fletcher); and his sister Florence Davis (Floyd). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
