He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, James Ashby, Andrea Ashby of Hiram, Deborah Ashby of Shalersville, Regina Ashby of Niles and Jennifer Ashby-Veid (Daniel) of Florida; his grandchildren, Amber, Anthony, Daniel, Michael, Mitchell, Brittiny, Joseph, Craig, Kaylee, David, Emily, Alex, James and Jarod; his sister Sharon Asher of Tennessee; his mother-in-law Vicie Walker; his sisters-in-law, Virginia DiMatteo and Betty Berlof (Richard); and his niece Stacey Henderson.
