She was predeceased by: her father Wilbur S. Steward; her stepfather William A. Tarver Jr.; and her aunt Jackie. She is survived by: her mother Catherine Tarver; her husband LarVett Carlton; her children, Jonathan, Jasmine (Stephen) and Joshua (Shauntay); her brother Arnold Wright (Latoya); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Jovanni, Journee and Jahzara; and her sister-in-law Charisse Carlton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
