He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Phillips and Doris Phillips; his wife Licia Phillips; his children, Marvin Dana Phillips Jr. (Tara), George R. Wood (Cristina) and Alexis Talyah Phillips; his grandson Ezrah Kai Phillips; and his siblings, Carolyn Blocker and Joseph Phillips. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
