He was predeceased by: his son Clarence Cataline; and his siblings, Clarence Cataline, Ernest Cataline, Roy Cataline, Pete Cataline, William Cataline, Louise Blankenship and Pauline Joynes.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Cataline; his children, Jesse Jr. Cataline (Susan) of Garrettsville Oh, Steve Cataline of Falls Mills, William, Catalina of St. Petersburg, Pamela Burserean (Thomas) of Medina and Cheryl D'Amico of Medina; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Cataline. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
