She was predeceased by: her mother Sarah Whyte; her son Frederick C. Banton; and her sister Monica Evans. She is survived by: her children, Donnaree Banton-Edmonds (Ennis Edmonds) and Michael E. Banton; her grandchildren, Donnisa Edmonds Frederick Jr., Carey, Donte, Abigail, Michael Jr. and Renee Banton Hanna (Samuel); and her daughter-in-law Janet Channer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great grand-children.
