She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard Allen Pruett; and her daughter Ayngel Pruett. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lee Ruby; her daughter Dawn Pruett; her grandchildren, Veronica, Misty, Jeremy, Iesha, Diquan and Tye; and her sister Gloria Frost (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
