It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene A. Barker of Galloway, Ohio, born in Holloway, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Alice; his siblings, Harold Jr., Donald, Patricia, Barbara, Sandra, Richard, Vernon, Beverly and Karen; and his daughter Debra.

He is survived by: his wife Margene Barker; his children, Chris Adams, Scott Schneider (Tammi), Bob Barker (Kristina), Cyn Kindig (Larry), Karen Miera (Paul), Susan Apodaca, Beth Stone and Robin Porter (Pete); his sister June Curtis; his sister-in-law Jane Barker; his sister Jane; and his brother-in-law Gary Brewer. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Ohio Health Hospice.
