With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth N. Hope Young of Gallipolis, Ohio, born in Mason, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Harmon and Clara Barton Harmon (Reedy); her husbands, Lloyd Hope and William Young; her siblings, Clarence "Buddy" Harmon, Freda Hall, Clara VanDyne, Edna Benson, Esther Bright and Elsie Meek; her nieces, Opal Stearns, Bonnie Roush and Sasha Lawrence; and her nephew Charles "Pete" Harmon.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Reta Young Cougenour and Nita Young Propp; and her close friends, Keith and Zachary Miller. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
