He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey O. "Brownie" Blain and Ruth "Ma" Blain (Melton); his brothers, Harvey D. Blain and Charles Richard Blain; and his brother-in-law Ed Sommer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Ann Blevins (Jim) of Bidwell, OH and Ruth Ellen Sommer of Southside; and his sister-in-law Betsy Blain of Point Pleasant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
