With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard S. Vanco of Gallipolis, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Gibson Vanco and Andrew Steven Vanco; and his grandson Josh Vanco. He is survived by: his siblings, Molly Plymale, Karen Icard, Sharon White and Roger Vanco; his wife Shirley Vanco; his children, Julie Wamsley (Jeff), Rick Vanco (Melanie), Kathy Whaley (Chris), Sue Burleson (Jay) and David Price (Brooke); his grandchildren, Ashley Morrison (Dusty), Nina Harter, Zane Whaley (Kristina), Chance Burleson (Shannon), Hali Bergman (Kyle), Raegan, Rylan, Remington, Romey Price, Noah and Bella Vanco; and his great grandchildren, Audrey McKinniss, Avery Whaley, Hadley, Kylee Harter and Clay Morrison.
