He was predeceased by: his parent Mason Franklin; and his siblings, Wallace, Wendell, Gradon, Ben and Beulah Belle Mitchell.
He is survived by: his parent Verna Ethel Wallace Houck; his children, Deborah Rhodes (Jeff) of Gallipolis and Keith Allen Houck (Patsy) of Rose Hill; his stepdaughter Sheila Dawson (William) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Bruce Houck (Mary) of Ewing, Annette Boyles (Chuck) of Raceland and Deanna Stead (Justin) of Commerce; his great grandchildren, Theo Houck, Tyler Boyles, Tayloir Rose, Tanner Rose, Joshua Stead and Jacob Stead; and his wives, Dorothy Fellure Houck and Marcella Crupper Houck.
