He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucrecia Palatao Simón and Melecio G. Simón; and his sons, Paul Simón (Agnes Enrico Simón) and RemembranceA. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Sarzaba Simón; his children, Maria Lucrecia Simón (Paul Weber) and Sherwyn Simón (Theresa Simón); his grandchildren, Lauren Simón SeJan, Ross Dixon, Joshua Simón, Jacob Simón and Zachary Simón; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Albarran, Elliott SeJan and Collins SeJan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church (1012 Lake St, Evanston, IL 60201). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (1012 Lake St, Evanston, IL 60201). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Ohio Memory Gardens (1229 Neighborhood Rd, Gallipolis, OH 45631).
In 2010, he was honored and inducted into the Ohio Senior Citizen Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions to the community.
