It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Magdalene Mitchell of Gallipolis, Ohio, born in Chocowinity, North Carolina, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Arnold and Myrtie Arnold; her husband Lawrence A. Mitchell Jr.; and her siblings, Helen Marie Sloan (Jim), Jack Arnold of Midway City, CA and James (Linda) of Kyle, TX..
She is survived by: her sons, Gary L. Mitchell (Pam) of Oberlin and David W. Mitchell (Tina) of Gallipolis; her grandchildren, David K., David L., William, Tegan Coffman (Matt), Jennifer Mitchell, Triston Thompson (Thaddeus) and Mara Mitchell; and her siblings, Donald Parker (Sandy) of Madisonville, TN, Edwin Parker (Donna) of Pahrump, NV and Artie Crepeau (Michael) of Lunenburg, MA.. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
