It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean Allie of Gallipolis, Ohio, born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest T. Phillips, Sr. and Nora Mae Jones Phillips; her husband Walter E. Allie; her son Phillip Allie; and her siblings, Alma Holbrook, Alzena Henry and Ernest Phillips, Jr. (Mary).
She is survived by: her son Tom Allie (Sue) of Chillicothe; her parents-in-law, Phil and Mindy Allie Waugh (Charles Waugh) of Gallipolis; her sister Nora Sue Garfield of Beaverton, Oregon; and her caregiver Vickie Swanson of Gallipolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
