He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lester and Nora Faye Myers Haner; his wife Penny Kay Long Haner; and his sisters, Retha Mae Parcell, Beva Faye Hardy and Norma Rose Jeffers.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Haner (Sally) of Louisville, Mark Haner (Stacy) of Racine, Ohio and Gail Fannin (Scott) of Ashland, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Cory, Courtney, Curtis and James. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
