She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Swann and Allene Davis Swann-Dillon; her husband William Homer "Bill" Schoonover; her stepmother Margaret Swann; and her siblings, Robert Swann and Ginny Swann.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim VanMeter (John) of Gallipolis; her grandchildren, Andrea Roberts (Jerrod) of Gallipolis and Jonathan VanMeter (Jennifer) of Gallipolis; her great grandchildren, Shiloh Roberts, Hannah Roberts, Abigail Roberts, Keaton VanMeter, Kinsley VanMeter and Maddison Newell; her brothers, Joe Swann (Cathy) and Eddie Swann (Shirley); and her cousin Ann Haffelt of Gallipolis.
