He was predeceased by: his parents, Melburn C. Tackett and Doris E. Ellis Tackett; and his brother Chuck Tackett. He is survived by: his wife Peggy A. Casey Tackett of Gallipolis; his sons, Mark Tackett (Denise Goodrich) of Patriot and Scott Tackett (Tiffany) of Huntington; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Caleb, Josh and Dakota.
