Hammond of Gallipolis, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hammond (Margaret) and Delsie Talbert; his son John Stephen Hammond; and his siblings, Jerry Hammond, Earl Tom Hammond, Gary Whaley, Lucy and Kennison.
He is survived by: his spouse Savilla "Sue" Sanders Hammond; his children, Cindy Vance (Bryan) of Gallipolis, Ronda Crager (Dave) of Gallipolis and Frederick Hammond (Alisha) of Apple Grove; his grandchildren, Joni Nolan (Mark), Savilla Martin (Doug), Kacy Davenport (Bryan), Amiee Price (Tyler), Becca Williams (Brian) and Holly Davenport (Josh); his siblings, Tim Hammond of Grove City, Kenneth Hammond (Sherry) of Patriot, Ohio, Sally Davis (Gary) of Kansas City and Paula Dill (John) of London, Ohio; and his close friends, Marge Kemper, Jackie Owens, Tom Stephens, Jim Harrison and Randy Phillips. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
